I'm the owner of Scents by Jai, LLC, and here is a little background on how I got started with making candles. I have always loved the smell of candles, but with active boys flipping and so forth I was frighten to say the least. Therefore the only thing ran through my head was potential fire, from them knocking things down. Once they were old enough I decided to give it a try at making candles, instead of going buy candles. I love the way the process makes me feel, and to hear customers reviews. Ironically my boys sometimes help me out with scents, and scent names from time to time.
